      Type locality: Costa Rica.
  • roberta (Dyar, 1909) (Dasylophia)
      Type locality: Orizaba, Mexico.
  • valta of authors; (not Schaus, 1901) (Pentobesa) misid.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Nycterotis roberta (Dyar, 1909) is determined in Miller et al. (2021) to be the true identity of the species listed as "7956 [Pentobesa] valta Schaus, 1901" in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
