Distribution: Canada: AB; USA: MT south to southwestern NM between 3,800-5000 feet - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Dasylophia anguina (Smith, 1797), separated by size (smaller), genitalia and examination of ♂ St8, is not found in the Rockies. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: saturata Barnes, 1901 (Dasylophia)   Type locality: Denver, CO. Taxonomic Notes: Dasylophia saturata Barnes, 1901, rev. stat. in Miller et al. (2021), MONA Fascicle 22.1B:227, was previously treated as a subspecies of 7957 Dasylophia anguina (Smith, 1797) in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
