Distribution: South-central and southeast with a disjunct population in the southwest which Poole suggests may be an undescribed species, Nearctica.com. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: fasciatella (Grote, 1875) (Spragueia) - MONA 1983: 9102 Taxonomic Notes: Ponometia fasciatella: Formerly placed in the genus Tarachidia, ZooKeys, 39: 1-160.
