- G. blanca forewing is pure white without cream-white tinge, a few small black dots representing am. and pm. lines; hindwing has less grey-brown diffusion than in G. dis and more contrasting pm. line - Poole.
- G. parvipuncta forewing has cream-white tinge, a few small black dots representing am. and pm. lines faint to oblsolete; hind wing typically is evenly gray - Poole.
