Distribution: South central British Columbia south to Nevada and California. Elevation ~ 2400 ft.- 6300 ft. Seasonality and Size: Mid to late July-August. Wingspan - 30-40 mm. Similar Species: See 10104 Sympistis homogena Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: cherti Troubridge 2008 (Sympistis) Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis cherti Troubridge, 2008, n. sp., Zootaxa, 1903:1-95.
