Distribution: Alberta to British Columbia to Montana.  Mountains from treeline to valleys, in dry forests.  Elevations ~ 2,000 - 8,000 ft.
Seasonality
and Size:
Mid-July to late August.  Wingspan ~ 30-36 mm.
Similar Species:
  • See 10055 Sympistis dentata
