Synonymy: fabulosa (Ferguson, 1965) (Anomogyna) - MONA 1983: 10958 sincera of authors; (not Herrich-Schäffer, 1851) (Agrotis) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Xestia fabulosa (Ferguson, 1965) was previously placed in the genus Anomogyna, a name treated as a synonym of Xestia subgenus Pachnobia in Lafontaine (1998).
