Synonymy: elimata (Guenée, 1852) (Noctua) - MONA 1983: 10967; TL: Georgia. grisatra (Smith, 1907) (Semiophora); TL: Lakehurst, NJ. Taxonomic Notes: Xestia elimata (Guenée, 1852) was previously placed in the genus Anomogyna, a name treated as a synonym of Xestia subgenus Pachnobia in Lafontaine (1998).
