Distribution: Found throughout the Old World tropics, including India, Africa, Sri Lanka, and Thailand; not found in North America north of Mexico.

Hosts include representatives from the Malvaceae, Fabaceae, Rutaceae, Tilaceae, and Sapotaceae. Hosts of importance include Citrus sinensis (orange), Gossypium barbadense (extra long staple cotton), Gossypium herbaceum (Levant cotton) Manilkara zapota (Sapodilla), and Zea mays (Maize/corn).
Description/
Field Marks:
Forewings yellow-orange with faint green suffusion. Median, post-median, and pre-terminal fascia pale green-brown and interrupted. Median fascia not extending to the costa. Pale green-brown spot between median and post-median fascia.
Dorsum with three pale green-brown fascia, with the inner-most fascia not extending to the costa. A pale green-brown spot between the sub-basal and median fascia. Hindwings white with pale brown wing margins.
Similar Species:
