Larva and Host Plants: Pinus strlbus. Similar Species: 36a0113 Ocnerostoma piniariella: may not be seperable by genitalia but is separated by DNA barcode. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: strobivorum Freeman, [1961] 1960 (Ocnerostoma) - MONA 1983: 2410; Holotype: Constance Bay, Ontario. Note: Authorship year corrected from “1960” to "[1961] 1960" in Pohl & Nanz (2025).
