Description/ Field Marks: It may be that case that piniariella is restricted to the Palearctic, with NA specimens identified as this species referring to strobivorum Freeman. Similar Species: 36a0114 Ocnerostoma strobivorum: may not be seperable by genitalia but is separated by DNA barcode. Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: piniariella Zeller, 1847 (Ocnerostoma) - MONA 1983: 2409 copiosella Frey, 1856 (Ocnerostoma) galactitella (Eversmann, 1844) (Oecophora)
