Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: trilinearia Grossbeck 1910 (Cymatophora) - MONA 1983: 6302 Taxonomic Notes: Macaria trilinearia (Grossbeck, 1910), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
