Synonymy: nordeggana (McDunnough, 1922) (Argyroploce) - MONA 1983: 2840   Type locality: Holotype: Noregg, AB. kennethana (McDunnough, 1941) (Olethreutes) obsoletana of authors; (not Zetterstedt, 1839) (Tortrix) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Phiaris nordeggana (McDunnough, 1922) was formerly placed in the genus Olethreutes; the current generic treatment follows Razowski (2003).
