Synonymy: gularis Zeller 1877 (Melissoblaptes) - MONA 1983: 5632 modesta Butler 1879 (Paralipsa) tenebrosus Butler 1879 (Melissoblaptes) Taxonomic Notes: Aphomia gularis (Zeller, 1877) was formerly in the genus Paralipsa in Leraut (2014). Paralipsa was synonymized with Aphomia in Leraut (2014).
