Distribution: Western TX, southeastern NM - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: alpica (Benjamin, 1932) (Ianassa) - MONA 1983: 8013   Type locality: Alpine, TX. Taxonomic Notes: Carboniclava alpica (Benjamin, 1932), n. comb. and n. gen. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly placed in the genus Oligocentria.
