Distribution: UT, AZ, southwest CO - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: alpicoides Miller & Franclemont, 2021 (Carboniclava)   Type locality: Holotype: "Walnut Canyon, 6-1/3 mi EESE Flagstaff, 6500 ft, Coconino Co. Arizona". Taxonomic Notes: Carboniclava alpicoides Miller & Franclemont, 2021, n. sp., MONA Fascicle 22.1B: 149.
