Distribution: Canada: BC; USA: CO, NV, WA, OR, CA. (PNWM, BOLD, LeoSoc.) Description/ Field Marks: Forewings typically with both am. and pm. lines reaching the inner margin. Similar Species: Oxycnemis orbicularis typically has forewings with both am. and pm. lines incomplete. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: meadiana Morrison 1875 (Oncocnemis) - MONA 1983: 10098; Type locality: Colorado Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis meadiana: Formerly placed in the genus Oncocnemis.
