Description/
Field Marks:
Forewings typically with both am. and pm. lines reaching the inner margin.
Similar Species:
  • Oxycnemis orbicularis typically has forewings with both am. and pm. lines incomplete.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • meadiana Morrison 1875 (Oncocnemis) - MONA 1983: 10098; Type locality: Colorado
  • Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis meadiana: Formerly placed in the genus Oncocnemis.
