Similar Species: |
- Anarta crotchii and Anarta fusculenta are easily confused. Examination of genitalia is required. A. crotchii is not presently known in southern California south of Yosemite.

Anarta crotchii (Grote, 1880), formerly placed in the genus Discestra, n. comb. in Mustelin (2006), Zootaxa, 1278: 1-47, includes as a synonym Anarta chunka [10235], Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010), ZooKeys, 40: 155. This species was misslepped as "crotchi" in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). |
