Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: perornata Barnes & McDunnough 1916 (Itame) - MONA 1983: 6300 Taxonomic Notes: Macaria perornata (Barnes & McDunnough, 1916), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
