Synonymy: grossbecki Barnes & McDunnough 1913 (Diastictis) - MONA 1983: 6315 Taxonomic Notes: Macaria grossbecki (Barnes & McDunnough, 1913), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
